At FILIPA we are proud of the idea of selling unique pieces, made with manual and ancestral techniques by artisans from the region where we were born and grew up, Valle del Cauca.
Our production techniques are ethical and responsible with the community. We do not have overproduction and each design, each mold, each cut and each seam are made with the care of someone who creates a work of art.
We believe in the importance of preserving the traditional ways of making shoes and we strive for leaving a mark of authenticity in each piece we make.
Committed to supporting local production and preserving traditional shoemaking processes, each pair of Filipa shoes is made by the shoemakers' guild of Cauca.
